Are you ready to step into a pivotal role that keeps our manufacturing processes running smoothly? We are looking for a proactive Sub Assembly Operator to join our team. If you're dedicated to ensuring quality, safety, and teamwork, read on to discover how you can contribute.

Shifts:

40 hours per week

Mon – Thurs 14:00 to 23:00

Fri 12:00 to 17:00

Pay Rate £12.50 DOE

Role Highlights:

As a Sub Assembly Operator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for:

Conducting pre-shift equipment checks and performing routine maintenance on sub-assembly equipment.

Following established safe work practices (SSOWs) and adhering to our rigorous Health & Safety Procedures.

Maintaining comprehensive documentation of quality and production, meticulously linked to each work order and product process.

Reporting production progress using designated software tools and updating team-specific status boards following standardized methods.

Actively participating in shift handover meetings, fully understanding assigned tasks and promptly escalating any concerns that could impact our plans.

Championing a tidy and organized workspace in alignment with 5S guidelines.

Preparing finished items for multiple manufacturing locations, ensuring seamless consignments.

Swiftly escalating quality issues through the appropriate channels and actively contributing to the Production DMS (Daily Management System) through KPI boards and shift-handover sheets.

Taking on alternate tasks within the Dry Cleaning & Kitting Cell during periods of low Sub-Assembly workload.

Demonstrating unwavering adherence to company Health & Safety Guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

The ability to interpret documents such as drawings, safety protocols, operating instructions, and standard procedures.

A basic grasp of computer software, including the Microsoft Office suite.

The confidence to address and communicate issues beyond your direct control or expertise.

A willingness to embrace flexible shift patterns, including early mornings and evening shifts.

Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for collaborative teamwork.

Exceptional organizational abilities to maintain efficiency even in high-paced environments.

Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing setting.

Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and a passion for continual process improvement.

Previous First Aid training is a plus.
