Calling all Contract Site Services Engineers!

Are you ready to dive into an exciting contract opportunity that demands your technical prowess and adaptability? We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance/Site Services Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat.

This food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance / Site Services Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.  

As Site Services/Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of building utilities, cooling towers, pumps and pipework, boilers, compressors, and additional equipment.  Ideally you will be experienced in site services/facilities and maintenance in a food / FMCG setting.   

Details:

  • Inside IR35
  • 2-3 Month contract
  • 12-hour shifts, rotational days and nights
  • Location: Exeter

Here's what we're looking for from a Site Services Engineer:

  • Completion of PPMs within your area of responsibility
  • Respond to all breakdowns on all site services equipment
  • Ability to work within tight time constraints
  • Prioritisation skills to manage your workload effectively and meet targets
  • A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Capability to collaborate in cross-functional roles.

Qualifications and skills required of Site Services Engineer:

  • Engineering apprenticeship trained
  • Ideally 3+ years of previous facilities/maintenance experience in high speed manufacturing setting (ideally food or packaging)
  • Minimum of Level 3 qualifications in Engineering
