- Work closely with a caseload of individuals on a 1:1 and group basis, to address their barriers to gaining employment, improving skills, or progressing within their chosen careers through tailored support and interventions.
- Work with your caseload to develop a career skills action plan and support them with their learning and development.
- Provide suitable IAG relating to local job sectors and opportunities.
- Gain an understanding of specialist signposting services within the local area/region, to include: specific disabilities, housing etc.
- Work towards and achieve targets and KPI's for customers seen and supported into employment / learning or career progression.
- Completing all necessary paperwork in line with compliance and quality standards.
- Ideally hold a Level 4 in Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) although this is not essential.
- Ideally hold experience in providing careers advice to adults.
- Must demonstrate an engaging personality, with ability to motivate and encourage individuals who are returning to work and learning.
- Good understanding of the local labour market.
- Must have experience of working within a target driven environment.
- IT literate.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
