Role: Machine Production Operator
Location: Holmes Chapel (CW4)
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £28-30k depending on experience plus benefits

You will be involved in supporting the establishment of a modern manufacturing facility from the beginning. The job will primarily be the setting up and running of high-tech machines and assisting in the research and development programme. This company believe in inclusivity and creating the right work atmosphere and as such you will be a key team player and will also be supporting a wide range of activities.
Specific Skills/Experience.
- Experience of setting and running PLC controlled machinery, with good attention to detail and discipline to follow SOP’s.
- Good record keeping skills and a zero-tolerance attitude to poor quality standards is critical.
- Prior experience in stamping, molding and heat-sealing processes within an automotive environment would be advantageous.
- Safety conscience and comfortable promoting high safety standards within a wider group.
- Understanding and enthusiasm for LEAN principles in the work environment.
- Counterbalance license is essential and reach truck license would be advantageous.
- A basic understanding and hands-on experience in mechanical engineering practices would be advantageous.
