Working for a growing business in Cheshire, we are recruiting for an Accounting Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a close-knit, and friendly Finance Team who are part of a larger organisation. This role will suit a strong finance professional who is technically minded, able to mentor junior members of the team, whilst also work closely with the Head of Finance. What you'll be doing?
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Management of other finance team members
- Month end close
- Responsible for overseeing the purchase invoice to pay cycle
- Group reporting
- Audit annually
- VAT, corporation tax, PAYE, payroll deductions
- Payroll
- Vat returns
- Fixed Asset Accounting
What experience you'll have?
- At least 4+ years accounting experience; qualified or part-qualified by relevant professional body or qualified by experience.
- Good Excel capability and experience of using an ERP essential
- Experience of managing team members preferable
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver to strict deadlines.
- Excellent Finance knowledge and capability to apply in a commercial environment.
- Interest in seeking new ways of working and ideas to improve the business.
