Health Care Assistant

Healthcare Talent are recruiting for a number of Healthcare Assistantsto work for our client which is a national healthcare providerfor ad-hoc/agency shifts.

If you do not meet the essential worker criteria below,you will not be shortlisted:

• Currently working as a Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant
• 6-12 months experience within the UK care sector
• Experience with nursing, residentialand dementia care
• Can work over 20 hours
• Is flexible to work both day and night shifts
• Available ASAP

As a Healthcare Assistantyou will work within a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the units and in delivering person centred care in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and well being.

The ideal candidates will haveprevious experience of working in a Care Home setting with a vulnerable client group. They must posses good communication skills and haveenthusiasm to learn and develop within this role. We believe that the compassion, understanding, and service we show each and every individual should be reflected in the way we all support, respect, and include every individual who works with us.

Senior positions are also available but the candidate must be educated to NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care equivalent, or working towards this award.
