Receptionist/Administrator - Secondary School, Croydon
Start Date: Monday, 20th October 2025 | Term-Time Only | Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

TimePlan Education is working with a secondary school in Croydon to recruit a professional and dedicated Receptionist/Administrator. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic school environment.

The successful candidate MUST have prior experience in school administration.

Role Overview:
You will be a key member of the school's Office Team, working closely with the Office Manager to provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house service. You will deliver outstanding administrative support and excellent customer service to students, parents/carers, staff, and visitors, while upholding the school's ethos and values.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven school administration experience (essential)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong teamwork, empathy, patience, and reliability

  • Flexibility, proactivity, and adaptability

  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management

  • Professionalism, courtesy, and tact in a busy environment

  • Passion for education and belief in student potential

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong grammatical and numerical skills

  • Experience delivering effective administrative support

Desirable:

  • Experience using Bromcom (training can be provided)
