Maintenance Operative

Fusion People are actively recruiting for Maintenance Operative to work on behalf of a leading planned maintenance contractor on an NHS Hospital in Homerton, England.

Planned maintenance (PPM's) and reactive maintenance service (including out of hours call-out cover). Is a static position based at The John Howard Centre in Homerton, London Hospital. Maintenance to buildings fabric, plant, equipment and alarm systems.This is a mental health care contract (The JHC a secure site) so experience in this environment would be beneficial.There are 3 sites on this contract and The John Howard Centre the main base. One site can be walked but the other is a little further afield. The candidate will have access to a pool van which they can use if they need to travel to another site and also when they are on-call.Monday to Friday 8am to 5pmOn-call and overtime. Standy allowance £75 for the week and overtime paid for a minimum 2 hours per call out at either time and a half if Monday to Saturday or double time if Sunday or Bank Holiday. Plus a day off in lieu if called out on a Bank Holiday. The on-call is 1 in every 5 weeks approx.Salary on perm up to £32k so initial temp rate £15.38 plus holiday, NI, pension + marginCandidate will need a UK driving license (manual) and have held for at least one year, not been banned in the past 3 years and no more than 6 pointsPosition is subject to a Standard DBS check
