Prospero Teaching are currently on the lookout for an experienced Nurture Teacher to join SEMH schools, alternative provisions, and PRUs (Pupil Referral Units) in South London.
Required: Nurture Teacher
Daily rate: 140 - 240 depending on QTS and experience
Full Time, 5 days per week

About the Role:
As a Nurture Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with SEMH needs. Your responsibilities will include creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment, developing individualised intervention plans, and delivering targeted support to help students overcome barriers to learning.
Supporting SEMH Pupils:
SEMH pupils require understanding, empathy, and a nurturing approach. Key ways to support SEMH pupils include:
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported.
- Implementing personalised strategies to help students regulate their emotions and develop positive coping mechanisms.
- Building strong relationships with students based on trust and mutual respect.
- Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals to provide holistic support to students.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Have previous experience working with SEMH students in a similar setting.
- Possess relevant qualifications in education or psychology.
- Hold a valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Demonstrate a passion for working with vulnerable young people and a commitment to their well-being and academic success.
