Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer to manage a support service to vulnerable adults across South London.

Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Officer:

• Take ownership of supported accommodation services within the organisation.
• Carry out regular reviews of housing schemes.
• Deliver effective tenancy and lease management
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure housing schemes remain fully compliant with all requirements.
• Manage empty properties, from inspection through to allocation and sign-up.
• Work with colleagues across repairs, lettings, and support teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Make sure health, safety, and fire safety actions are completed and recorded.
• Maintain accurate and compliant resident records.
• Review service charges, carry out estate inspections, and monitor cleaning and grounds contracts.
• Address tenancy breaches and property misuse effectively.
• Handle tenancy changes such as assignments, exchanges, and successions.
• Support the management of anti-social behaviour cases, including joint investigations.
• Coordinate with repairs teams on complex or sensitive repair cases.
• Take part in an emergency out-of-hours rota when required.

Essential Experience of the Supported Housing Officer:

• Full UK Driving License and business insurance
• Basic DBS
