We are looking for a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our specialist SEN school in Croydon. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children aged 5 - 11 with social, emotional, mental health, Autistic Spectrum disorder, speech, language and communication difficulties, as well as cognitive and learning challenges. Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for pupils with a range of needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment tailored to the individual challenges of each pupil.
- Plan and execute lessons that engage and inspire students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic development of each child.
- Utilise innovative strategies to motivate pupils and manage behaviour effectively.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- QTS or QTLS qualifications.
- Proven teaching and learning experience.
- Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge and experience.
- Outstanding classroom practitioner with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Experience working with students with SEMH and additional needs is highly desirable.
