Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Warrington WA3

Salary: £11.00 – £14.00 per hour

Our client is a leading supplier that has been well established for over 50 years and has a fantastic working relationship in over 80 countries worldwide. They have a new position for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their family-owned business on a temporary basis. The contract is expected to last for 6 – 12 months.

Job Description

• Preparing financial statements, showing business income and expenditure
• Raising salary ledger
• Chasing overdue invoices
• Building and maintaining client relationship
• Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software
• Managing expenses
• Month end accounts
• Processing VAT returns
• General ad hoc admin/office duties
• Assist with monthly/quarterly reporting

The Successful Candidate

• Fully qualified AAT or Qualified by experience
• Previous experience using Sage 50, SAP or other account software
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office inc. Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to dead lines
• Full UK driving licence

What’s On Offer

• Hours: 16 – 20 hours per week / Monday – Friday
• Salary: £11.00 – £14.00 per hour
