Escape is working with an FMCG manufacturer, who has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join their busy team.
Our client works with the majority of the major retailers to deliver their orders and the Supply Chain Team make sure that makes sure that production has what they need and when they need it.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Analyse customer sales orders Vs forecast
- Produce and maintain the production plans
- Produce the material plan and place orders for raw materials and imported produce
- Work closely with production to support labour planning
- Build strong relationships with Suppliers and Customers
- Update and maintain the ERP systems
- Produce reports and attend production meetings
Experience and knowledge for the role:
- Previous experience working in a similar production or material planning role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Intermediate Excel Skills and experience in using ERP/MRP systems
- Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Time management skills
- Excellent people skills and can build relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Our client site is open 24/7, so the requirement is to work 5 days over 7 with variable start times.
Due the start times, candidates with their own transport and commutable distance from site will be considered.
