Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer
Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer requiredfor our client, the are a UK-based plant hire company specialisng in excavators and other construction equipment. They provide premium-condition Hitachi excavators for hire, ensuring high-quality machinery for various industries. They have been in business since 2019, currently employ over 50 members of staff, and turnover over 25m pa. They currently require a Plant Fitter / Workshop Fitter to join the team at their Curdworth workshop.
Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery, primarily excavators
- Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring all machinery is compliant with relevant safety standards.
- Conduct inspections and keep accurate records of work carried out.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer Requirements
-NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing heavy plant and / or agricultural machinery
- Based within a commutable distance of Curdworth
Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer Remuneration
- Salary 36,000 - 42,000
- 22 Days Holiday + BH
- Overtime Available (Paid at 1.5x or 2x)
- Pension
- Working Hours - 07:00 - 17:00
