?? Teaching Post at PRU: English Teacher (KS3)
Are you passionate about re-engaging students with education? A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in the Torfaen area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September. You will have excellent behaviour management experience, patience and understanding for the pupils needs with the ability to deliver the curriculum in a creative and engaging way.
Position: English Teacher (KS3)
Contract: Full-time until October half-term, with potential for extension
Salary: £158/day or higher (based on experience and qualifications)
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience delivering the curriculum
About Torfaen PRU:
- Torfaen PRU is an alternative provision for KS3 and KS4 pupils who cannot attend mainstream school due to various reasons.
- Our goal is to re-engage students with education, preparing them for successful futures.
- We follow the new Curriculum for Wales, covering subjects like Health and Well-being, Literacy, Languages, Maths, Science, Humanities, Expressive Arts, ICT, PE, and Cooking.
