Yard Sunter Driver
Location: Dagenham
Pay rates: 15.00 or 16.80 PAYE
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday Only
Times: 18:00pm to 22:00pm
(20 hours per week)
As a Yard Shunter Driver, you'll play a vital role in our clients' warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include maneuvering large vehicles within confined spaces, supporting loading and unloading activities, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely maneuver large vehicles within the yard.
- Support warehouse operations by supplying vehicles for loading and unloading.
- Report and manage vehicle defects.
- Act as a site safety ambassador.
- Assist with warehouse tasks and home deliveries as needed.
- Coordinate with loading teams to ensure efficient vehicle allocation.
- Monitor vehicle roadworthiness and report defects promptly.
- Liaise with the transport office for routing.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license - Class 1 or Class 2.
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ideal for candidates with expired driver qualifications.
- Experience in transport operations.
