Reed HR are supporting a company in Darlington to recruit a Learning & Development Advisor. You will have responsibility for all learning and development across the company, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the people and culture strategy.

This role is hybrid working, has flexible hours and is paying 30-35k. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively promote a culture of continuous learning and continued professional development across the company
  • Deliver training sessions where appropriate
  • Ensure all learning and development activity supports the business' values
  • Liaise with training providers to identify suitable training courses, ensuring the company obtains the best offering
  • Manage the company's apprenticeship activity engaging with stakeholders to deliver high-quality apprenticeship programmes which meet business objectives
  • Review and evaluate all training, including engagement, content delivery, application of learning and return on investment, making any changes as required to ensure continuous improvement   
  • Present proposed learning and development activities and progress updates to key stakeholders to gain their agreement and support

Person Specification

  • L&D experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of the apprenticeship system
  • Excellent grasp of L&D trends and best practice
  • Experience of working for an SME (preferable)
  • CIPD L5 Learning and Development qualification or working towards (preferable)
