Reporting to the Group Commercial & Marketing Director, this role is responsible for driving actionable performance and success in achieving the group's objectives, to grow market share, build brand equity, and create loyal trade partners and consumers. The ideal candidate will combine commercial and product knowledge with effective marketing and sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Developing commercial strategies and messaging in collaboration with the Group Marketing Director, translating these into actionable plans.
- Leading opportunity and market modelling to support commercial initiatives, setting KPIs to track progress and success.
- Optimise channel/market strategies, enhance brand positioning, and develop competitive market models.
- Implement selling terms optimisation and manage brand presence.
- Create and execute product and service strategies tailored to specific markets and channels.
- Develop promotional strategies to boost sales and explore new market opportunities.
- Strategise for new business acquisition and operational process improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams to pursue commercial goals.
- Utilise data-driven insights for effective market positioning and engagement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and represent the company at events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial marketing strategy and management, preferably within luxury home fixtures/furniture or home improvement sector, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements, with the ability to develop effective strategies.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with a data-oriented approach to creating insight propositions.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively across departments.
- Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to represent the company at industry events.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems like Salesforce to support data collection and analysis.
