Well established and reputable law firm in Kent are seeking a Paralegal to work within their busy Residential Conveyancing Department. This role will be to assist the busy Fee Earner’s in their day to day work by providing support and an efficient secretarial and administrative service.

Duties include:

  • Assisting fee earners with residential property matters to include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared equity/shared ownership, new homes and part exchange.
  • Prepare correspondence and documents to include audio typing using digital dictation.
  • Duties may include diary management.
  • Working directly with clients and partners to ensure a seamless service.
  • Assisting heavily with post exchange aspects of purchase and sale transactions and seeing them through to completion.
  • Assisting with all aspects of post completion matters including title registration and SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns.

Desired skills and experience:

  • At least 1 years Residential Conveyancing experience.
  • Must be within a short commute of the company.
  • Fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems.
  • Experience of using case management system desirable but not essential.
