We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our efforts in expanding our non-retail customer base and nurture existing partnerships.
Reporting to the Director, the Non-Retail Sales Manager will develop and execute a strategic plan to drive sales growth and offer the best service and products to our existing customers.
This position will be based at our offices in Farningham, Kent and due to the location of the role, access to your own transport would be required.

What does the job involve?
- Drive sales growth and manage customer relationships in the non-retail sector, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct visits to key customers and actively pursue new client opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the customer base.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to optimise stock and supply chain efficiency.
- Provide regular sales statistics and reports, meeting agreed monthly targets.
- Act as a liaison between customers and management, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Stay informed about market trends and pricing.
- Utilise Packstar software to manage orders and coordinate deliveries.
- Support junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Skills / Experience
- Proven experience in customer account management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial acumen, with experience working closely with operational teams.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Demonstratable proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Outlook, Excel.
- Experience in the fresh produce market is desirable.
- An ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Working hours
- Working 07:00-16:30, Tuesday to Saturday

Watts Farms is a third-generation family run business. We grow fresh produce, which is picked and packed on site, with our head office based in Farningham, Kent.
Our production sites are based in Kent and Essex and include organic land, polytunnels and modern glasshouses. We are specialist growers, who over the years have developed both growing techniques and varieties to provide our customers with the best quality and flavour.
