My client, an established company based in South Devon is currently seeking an experienced Accountant for their busy offices.This position is office based and no hybrid or home working is offered with this role, as you will be working closely with a team.Job Description:- Preparation of all financial reports, including departmental income statements, balance sheets, VAT returns, and external reporting as required.- Develop dash board reporting for departmental use. Extracting and presenting insights from database.- Payroll Experience would be a advantage- Reviews reports and analyzes projected sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals and suggests methods of improving performance or processes as appropriate.- Prepares annual accounts to final TB stage including schedules for external auditors.- Maintains total confidentially at all times (e.g. customer purchases, accounting records, personnel records, etc.).Skills and Experience:Qualified or part qualified with experience of similar position.Previous use of Microsoft365 products including Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. - Excellent in Excel, with previous experience of dash board applications – Power Bi, Pivot tables or similar.- Excellent analytical, business planning, problem solving, and motivational skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - High level of accuracy, organisational skills, and ability to work to and achieve by an agreed timetable.
