An exciting opportunity has become available to join a market-leading business in Darwen as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on the night shift. This role is ideal for a well-rounded engineer with both electrical and mechanical skills who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you'll do:

  • Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment and site facilities
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repairs
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and improve reliability
  • Work with automation and control systems, including basic fault finding and adjustments
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations
  • Accurately document maintenance activities and update the maintenance management system
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades during quieter night periods

What you bring:

  • Recognised multi-skilled engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND)
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
