4Sure Recruitment is excited to support an expanding Client based on the outskirts of Chester on Deeside Industrial Park.

Our client is currently looking to add to the internal transport team with an experienced Transport Coordinator / Planner


Role & Responsibilities – Transport Coordinator / Planner: 

The main purpose of the Transport Coordinator / Planner will be to work alongside the sales, manufacturing teams and map out deliveries and routes the contracted driving division.

The main tasks and activities in this role are to carry out:

  • Plan weekly schedules in advance for nationwide deliveries ensuring the most efficient route, cost and time schedules are met.
  • Coordinate external contractor drivers and vehicles to ensure products are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Book in and out using the internal company CRM system

Candidates Attributes / Qualifications – Transport Coordinator / Planner: 

  • Previous working knowledge from within a fleet business – Essential
  • Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & SAGE – Essential
