Excellent opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join a leading East Midlands property management company.

Client Details

An East Midlands based property management company who oversee tenanted properties in the commercial, industrial & leisure, education & retail sectors.

They are looking to appoint a Facilities Coordinator / Assistant Facilities Manager to support the Surveyors delivering FM / Maintenance across their portfolio of properties.

Description

This is a new role within the organisation which supports the Surveyors in delivering their FM / Maintenance offering to management commercial properties.

Roles & responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management of commercial properties/ sites that they manage.
  • Manage, alongside the surveyors, planned preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Managing repairs
  • Inspection regimes of tenanted and vacant property
  • Overseeing general H&S such as properties have the correct statutory compliance in place and reporting/ systems in place
  • Overseeing approved contractors database in terms of correct insurances, competence and accreditation's etc.

Profile

  • Ideally 1-2 years Worked previously in a Property / Health & Safety Environment
  • Ideally a qualification in Property / FM / H&S (IOSH / NEBOSH)
  • Excellent communication / organisation skills
  • Experience managing maintenance contractors.
