- Defining and managing the processes associated with enquiry management
- Ensuring that project concepts and plansare produced, communicated, and understood by the other areas of the business
- Taking responsibility for assigned accounts and customers
- Where agreed take the leadand be the customers key point of contact during the proposal and sales phases
- Understanding and managing risk (technical, commercial, financial and programme)for project proposals to protect the company
- Meeting sales targets for profitability, revenue and other relevant KPIs
- Working closely with theDirectors and Management team to set and maintain the direction and strategy for the department to meet business targets and KPIs
- Producing business plans and acquire market knowledge to increase sales opportunities and profitability
- Ensuring that deadlinesset by customers and the organisation are achieved
- Managing your own development, knowledge acquisition and sharing of information whilst mentoring other team members
- Very good communication and organisation skills, ability to confidently present and negotiate with customers and internal stakeholders
- Able to demonstrate the desire and determination to exceed performance targets
- HND qualified or equivalent
- Extensive commercial and technical experience from similar industries and roles
- Be technically and numerically competent, with an analytical approach.
- Proven track record of success working within a sales/proposal’s environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
