Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee projects in Derby and the East Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing new build projects within the commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, education, and healthcare sectors, with project values ranging from 1M to 20M. Mechanical qualifications are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of mechanical projects within the designated sectors and geographical area.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are clearly defined, understood, and met.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetary constraints.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative working environment and driving performance to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Requirements:
