The Recruitment Group is working with a new build residential housing company that works with a wide range of affordable housing providers to provide much-needed quality, affordable homes.Ā

Main duties and responsibilities of the Commercial Manager
ā¢Oversee the financial aspects of the construction projects.
ā¢To ensure the projects stay within budget, remain cost-effective and yield profitability.Ā
ā¢Contract negotiation with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers.Ā
ā¢Attend and lead departmental-focused meetings and report to board meetings.Ā
ā¢Take an active role within the SLT, contributing to strategic initiatives, promoting collaboration, and achieving results.
Experience/knowledge requirements for the Commercial ManagerĀ
ā¢RICS Qualified
ā¢A minimum of 5 Years Experience post-qualifying.
ā¢Essential - must have experience of working in the house building industry.
ā¢Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
ā¢Strong organizational skills.
ā¢Able to work to tight deadlines.
ā¢Track record of evidencing attention to detail.
ā¢Strong Word and Excel skills and previous working knowledge of Construct advantageous
ā¢Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
