Our client are seeking Training Consultants to join their Nuclear team and lead all aspects (strategy, analysis, design, delivery and evaluation) of complex safety-critical projects.

The Nuclear team support a number of key nuclear programmes including the UK Submarine programme, the existing nuclear generation fleet, decommissioning and high integrity structures for new nuclear establishments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting and delivering all elements of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) where a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process is used
  • Delivering all aspects of TNAs in accordance with JSP822 – Defence Systematic Approach to Training (DSAT)  (Experience of Knowledge Management Systems analysis and implementation would be beneficial)
  • Responsibility for projects from strategy development through to delivery.
  • Setting strategic direction, developing training material and delivering training to end user and have a track record of delivering projects to time, quality, and cost.

Experience:

  • Training consultancy experience within the defence and/or nuclear sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of the production and quality/technical assurance of formal TNA outputs.
  • Experience of the design of training materials using a SAT-compliant methodology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the latest technology enhances media to support the delivery of effective training.
  • Successful in establishing strong and effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-reliant, proactive, and possessing strong initiative coupled with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience with JSP822.
  • Experience with Submarine Systems.
  • Submarines Ex Operator Experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • SC Clearance
