Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students in both SEN and mainstream settings. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting teachers and providing individualized support to students to enhance their learning experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, providing additional support to students as needed.
Work with SEN students to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure their specific needs are met.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, promoting their social and emotional development.
Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to assess student progress and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment, preferably with both SEN and mainstream students.
A strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
