IT Support AdministratorDerby (Hybrid)TEMP TO PERM(Initial 3-6 Month day rate - £150pd - £175pd)£25,000 - £35,000 Gleeson Recruitment are working on an exciting opportunity alongside a well established national business based in their Derby HQ. The purpose of the role is to maintain the IT systems within the organisation. The role will cover supporting and maintain switches and servers, wireless networks and applications deployed within the business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a similar technical role and can hit the ground running quite easily in a 2nd line environment. There is room to develop skills for those with limited experience as a shining, ambitious personality is mostly desired. *Driving license required*Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end users with IT issues
  • Troubleshoot issues escalated from service desk or internal sources
  • Monitor and maintain the ticket queue and ensure tickets are closed within SLA
  • Support third parties with maintaining the systems
  • Buy, con?gure and install IT equipment at sites
  • Buy, con?gure and deploy mobile devices
  • New account creation, maintenance and deletion
  • Maintain and support existing hardware and software
  • Ensure systems are patched and up to date

Experience/ Knowledge:?????

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Aptitude to learn about systems and industry
  • Proactive and self-organising
  • Good troubleshooter or logical thinker
