A fantastic opportunity to join a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Central Derby, as a Payroll Supervisor, you will be managing a diverse portfolio of clients from various industries/ sectors and sizes.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Supervisor will be:

  • Managing diverse range of clients from different industries / sectors and sizes
  • End to end payroll procedures.
  • Preparing and running weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
  • Administering all new starters and leavers and updating information
  • Managing a variety of company pension schemes
  • Processing all statutory documents such as P6, P45, P60, P11D, student loads, maternity / paternity leave etc.
  • Generating payroll reports
  • Liaising closely with clients to investigate and resolve any queries

Ideal candidate should have:

  • Payroll experience in a similar position would be an advantage
  • A sound knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Able to manage a diverse payrolls and work to strict deadlines
  • Ability in using Sage and Excel (V-looks-up/ Pivot tables) would be desirable not essential
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
