Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: As soon as possible or September 2024

Role and Responsibilities:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to support children with special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Provide one-on-one and small group support within the enhanced resource unit.
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students' social and emotional development.
- Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Monitor and report on students' progress and behavior.
- Assist with personal care tasks as required.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3) are advantageous but not essential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
