A multi-billion global business has a new opportunity for a Process Engineer to join a small division of the business based in Derbyshire. This position is a newly created role due to the increased workload. You will be working with a small friendly team, where they support each other within the company. Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
- Producing process design deliverables, including mass balances, PFDs, process calculations, and additional process documentation as required.
- Reviewing of both process and other engineering documents, with a focus on ensuring the design is suitable for the commissioning phase of the project.
- Responsible for process commissioning and audit work by the provision of technical support across the full range of products and systems
- Lead process commissioning site-based activities, where you will solicit guidance, advice, and assistance from Control Systems Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, whilst directed by the Project Manager.
- Responsible for both Environmental and H&S considerations when on-site, ensuring all relevant risk assessments, method statements, and the undertaking of all relevant legislative training requirements.
- Will operate as the face of the company on customer sites and build relationships and partnerships with their external customers as well as internal colleagues.
Requirements of the Process Engineer:
- Degree qualified in either Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Previous experience working on Waste Water Treatment systems is required.
- Experienced Process Engineer with some site-based commissioning work experience is highly desirable.
- Flexible in traveling to sites throughout the UK.
- Proficient in P&ID and process calculations.
- Confident nature and comfortable dealing with the customers face to face.
