MS474 - Production Supervisor

Location: Derby

Salary: £30.000 - £32,000 per annum + quarterly bonus

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Production Supervisor. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage day to day production workload to ensure effective delivery.
Manage overtime/weekend working requirements as necessary.
Train and motivate production staff.
Identify and raise issues which may affect delivery.
Ensure all machinery is being used to its full potential.
Ensure all machine maintenance is done and documented as required.
Effectively manage material ordering.
Low stock management.
Stock take (maybe done in conjunction with production staff).
Ensure all consumable items are well stocked and locked away if necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience of effectively managing and organising workload.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, and set priorities.
Stay focused and calm under pressure.
Able to use initiative and problem solving.
Ability to motivate a team under pressure.
Have an eye for detail.
