Waldon Telecom is an essential infrastructure services provider to the mobile telecommunication sector in the UK. We work on behalf of large mobile network operators to acquire, design, and construct mobile telecommunication base stations across the country.
We are looking for an Acquisition Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, so if you are looking to learn, develop and progress within a growing, dynamic company then we would like to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
As the Acquisition Project Manager, you will oversee the Acquisition Department managing sites from instruction to acquired and supporting through all stages to build. You will be responsible for a team of surveyors whilst keeping your own complex portfolio.
You are likely to work 2 days at home and 3 days on site or in one of our offices (in Surrey or Derby).
What will your key responsibilities be?
- Reporting to client and attending client meetings
- Identifying properties suitable for infrastructure and providing support and advice to your team regarding options
- Preparing recommendation reports to client
- Negotiating terms including valuation
- Providing advice and liaison to solicitors on surveying matters
- Preparing lease and survey agreements
- Managing departmental finance and reporting
- Presenting to the operational board opportunities and challenges
Skills & Knowledge Requirement:
- An honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
- A wealth of experience within Telecommunications Acquisition
- An expert in matters of Electronic Communications Code and have provided expert representation
- Previous experience in managing a team
- A proven track record in budgetary and resourcing management skills
- A problem solver who is committed to excellent service
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Energetic and self-motivated
- UK Full Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel
