Our client is a well-established Refurbishment and Construction company who typically look after projects up to the value of 10million
We are looking for an experienced site-based Project Manager for a national contractor in Derby. The role will involve managing the extension and refurbishment to a retail park. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to health and safety compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to maximize team productivity and morale
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the refurbishment project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project team members, providing regular updates and resolving any concerns or conflicts.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the contracts
Requirements:
- SMSTS
- 3-day 1st Aid
- CSCS card
- Good Health and Safety background
- Extension and refurbishment experience
- Good technical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
They are offering a good daily rate, which will include subsistence allowance if you are working away from home.
