The Role:

We are looking for a motivated and engaging History Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to students at KS3 and KS4. This temporary position has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who can bring the subject to life with creativity, clarity, and passion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative History lessons that follow the national curriculum.

  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support learning.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of teaching History in a UK secondary school, ideally up to GCSE level.

  • Qualifications: A degree in History or a closely related subject, and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Training: Solid understanding of the national curriculum, safeguarding procedures, and classroom management techniques.

  • Skills: Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities.

DBS Check:
