As a Registered Manager, you will be qualified with a relevant Childcare Diploma at Level 3 and be responsible overseeing the operations of a residential children’s care home and leading a team of dedicated care professionals. This encompasses resource and personnel management, quality assurance, and compliance to relevant regulations and procedures.

Based in North Norfolk, this is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This opportunity offers a salary for £42,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The day to day

  • Directing the operations of a residential children's care home.
  • Leading and supporting a team of dedicated care professionals, guiding them from recruitment through ongoing growth and development.
  • Supervising and upholding the implementation of exemplary childcare practices.
  • Effectively overseeing both physical and financial resources as well as personnel.
  • Guaranteeing the highest standards of service quality and unwavering adherence to relevant regulations and procedures.

You will have/be

  • A relevant childcare related Diploma at level 3.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership or be willing to attain this within 2 years of appointment.
  • Significant experience in a supervision/management role working with children with complex requirements in a residential establishment.
  • Strong communication & listening skills, being able to promote the voice of the child.
  • The ability to create and present reports to a range of audiences.
  • Knowledge of regulations, legislations and procedures relevant to the role.
