The role of the Test Analyst will contribute to this vision by joining the QA Team and forming part of the testing and quality assurance function across all organisational systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, create, and execute scripts based on system/user requirements for all testing activities from the exit of unit test through to entry of UAT.
- Understand and adhere to the Test and Quality Assurance strategy.
- Provide an in-depth understanding of the different test phases, from start to end of implementations.
- Translate acceptance criteria into technical and functional test scripts, including all integrations to/from the solution.
- Defect management, control, and dashboard reporting.
- Prioritise test scripts, defects, and coordinate resolution with the Core team, implementation partners, and/or 3rd Party suppliers in liaison with the Senior Test Analyst.
- Support Business teams to ensure end-user acceptance testing is undertaken in line with the project test plan.
- Ensure entry and exit criteria of all test phases are met.
- Coordinate non-functional testing in line with project test plans.
Essential Experience:
- Experience in delivering and participating in the testing of complex programs and projects.
- Experience in stakeholder management and business engagement.
- Experience working in a test analyst role within an organisation and actively participating in several individual projects.
- Experience in planning, developing, and executing manual test scripts.
- Strong experience in producing high-quality work to challenging deadlines and budgets.
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.
- Test planning, execution, and full defect lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of test tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Jira.
- Knowledge and experience of Agile (SCRUM) methodology.
Candidates must be a Residanet of the UK and be able to Drive and the roles requires on site visits.
