Science Teacher

Position: Science TeacherLocation: Dewsbury, West YorkshireStart Date: September 2024Salary: £150 - £225 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students aged 11-16.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that cater to a diverse range of learning styles.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in a relevant science subject.
• Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge across the sciences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.
