Our client a well-known Civil Engineering contractor with offices in the North East is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor between the ranges of Trainee Qs (currently studying their QS degree) up to intermediate Qs level with 3-5 years’ experience.
The company has a turnover in excess of £200 million per annum and employs over 700 direct staff with a large portfolio of works across the region. We are specifically seeking a Qs to join the team to work on one of its many frameworks in the region. The project types are all civil engineering related and include RC, structure, deep drainage, earthworks etc with the average size project just over £2 Million in value. This role will require working predominantly in the office embedded in a large well-established team.
The role will offer considerable career development within the field of civil engineering and quantity surveying. The ideal candidate would be well organised and a good problem solver as will require working on multiple small value high volume construction projects simultaneously.
