Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in the heart of Oxfordshire? We are a leading Recruitment Agency partnering with a prestigious Civil Engineering firm, and we're currently seeking a Site Agent for a permanent position based in Didcot.

Role Overview: As a Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction phase of two major projects: the River Crossing project between Didcot and Culham and the Clifton Hampden bypass. These projects involve the construction of roads, roundabouts, bridges, and more, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Salary: Starting salary of £65,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the engineering team, including Site Engineers, Section Engineers & Foreman
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Monitor and control all aspects of the project, ensuring delivery within programme and budget
  • Liaise with clients, designers, and subcontractors
  • Attend progress meetings and compile reports
  • Implement Quality & Environmental plans on site
  • Drive a Safety Culture across the site team

Requirements:

  • Relevant highways construction experience
  • Previous experience with a main contractor in a similar role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Full driving licence and valid CSR/SAFEP
