We are an independent family run lettings agents with office in Diss and Norwich and are looking for a lettings administrator/negotiator to join our Diss office.The main responsibility of a lettings negotiator is to help landlords find tenants for their rental properties and in reverse help tenants find the right home to rent.
Key areas of responsibility that form part of the role a include:
- Dealing with prospective landlords and tenants
- Preparing property information such as photography, EPC and floor plans
- Confirming with landlords that they are happy with all presentational information
- Organising viewings
- Following up on viewings
- Carrying out credit and reference checks
- Renewal negotiations with both parties
- Dealing with terminations and other relevant actions in follow up
- Issueing maintenance jobs out to our contractors and following up
- Administrative duties
Progressing to other possible duties:
- Dealing with client account payments
- Property viewings
- Property inspections
- Property photography
Skills required:
- Great customer service
- Excellent organisation and memory
- Problem solving and ability to use own initiative
- Articulate communication
- Computer literacy
- Clean driving license
- An interest in property, which whilst not essential would be beneficial
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Salary depending on experiance, from 23,000
