JOB – Electrical Design Engineer  LOCATION – YorkshireTERM - Permanent SALARY – Competitive depending on skillsetA Yorkshire based Engineering company are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • NVQ or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in electrical & control systems design.
  • Good knowledge of electrical design packages such as AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks Electrical or Eplan.
  • PLC programming experience & good software understanding (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
  • Electrical design & development of control systems.
  • Producing electrical drawings & schematics & ensuring designs meet customer requirements.
  • Creating BoMs & documentation.
  • Ensuring health & safety requirements are met at all times.
