Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading sustainable engineering business to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Doncaster facility.
Our client is looking for someone with a strong work ethic with the ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines, knowledge of writing technical reports and a working understanding of PLC programming and control logic.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate on broad range of projects, from conception through to commissioning. Â
Other duties of the Senior Electrical Engineer will include:
- Lead/Undertake Electrical Engineering Design which includes production, design and modification of schematics, loop drawings, cable routing, panel layout drawings, block cable diagrams and motor starter panels.
- Electrical functional design of control system.
- Support production and oversee work of electrical installation engineers
- Drafting of scope of works, bill of materials, termination schedules, equipment data sheets, cables schedules, labelling schedules, proof testing documents and cable transfer documents.
- Ensuring as-built electrical documents are complete for factory acceptance testing.
- Commissioning Support
To be successful in this Senior Electrical Engineer role we are looking to speak with Engineers with the following:
- Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics Engineer or similar
- Experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering
- Possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering & Standards
- Experience in designing electrical systems
- Knowledge of Functional Safety Assessments and SIL verification would be ideal
- Experience in working in Hazardous Areas in compliance with ATEX and IECEx standards would be advantageous
