Working closely with the Managing Director and with the wider team to improve and add value in all areas of the business. This is a varied and hands on role from day to day accounting through to providing commercial expertise and advice to ensure the continued success and growth of the business.
- Lead a small team of Finance staff to produce regular and ad hoc management information to aid key decision making
- Contribute to the achievement of the company business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy
- Develop and control the annual operating budget to ensure all financial targets are met
- Overseeing finance system and ensuring that adequate internal controls and checks are in place
- Overseeing and liasing with external auditors to ensure that the financial accounts are presented accurately
You will be;
- Qualified Accountant or exceptional Commercial Qualified by Experience Accountant
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller/ Senior Financial Manager
- Hands on attitude
- Strategic thinking with the ability to create and implement long-term plans
- Commercial acumen with the ability to add value and the ability to to develop a commercial mind set in others
