Interim Finance Manager

The Interim Finance Manager is a key role, responsible for financial and management accounting within a not-for-profit organisation who are UK wide with their head office based in Doncaster.

Description

• Support with both financial and management accounts as they prepare for audit
• Prepare and present financial reports and budgets
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
• Provide financial advice to the management team to aid strategic decision-making
• Manage financial systems and processes, ensuring their effectiveness
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out
• Contribute to financial project planning and implementation
• Business partner with key stakeholders in the organisation

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

• Relevant experience in a similar agile Finance Manager role
• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by significant experience
• Any not for profit or sme experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and team management skills
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of around £20 per hour
• 3-4 month contract with chance of extension
