Doncaster DN3, up to £25k plus OT, Mon-Fri, days only
Stores and Stock Control Operative; duties include:
Handling all aspects of stock control including stock movements out and in, reporting any shortfalls or faults on the same day, regular checking of stock levels with full monthly stock taking, adhering to COSHH safety data for storage and use, administering and checking the stock control system on the software provided and liaising with all departments including finance and workshop.
Making sure all stock relating to field work is available and returning to suppliers as required.
Providing all equipment and consumables to workshop engineers for the next day’s work to ensure each engineer is not waiting for any supplies during their working day.
Processing returns or faulty goods, liaising with suppliers and accounts to replace or credit.
Packaging goods for despatch, safe and securely with the correct paperwork and labelling.
Stores and Stock Control Operative; requirements:
Applicants need to have experience in a busy engineering stores environment
Assertion to control products and processes
They must be accurate and organised with administration
Hold H&S in high regard and promote through their own actions
And have excellent communication skills in order to build positive relationships with employees at all levels within the organisation and external contacts including customers and suppliers.

Stores and Stock Control Operative; package
Hours: Rota system of 8 hours per day, the start and finish times are between 6:30am and 5pm
Salary: Up to £25k or £12.30p/hr plus O/T
Overtime: x1/3 in the week and x1/5 on Saturday if authorised
Holidays: 20 holidays per year plus bank holidays, this increases by 1 per full year for 3 years
