A community pharmacy located in a historic area of Doncaster is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join their team.Located in a historic area of Doncaster, the branch has a well-established support team that includes an ACT. Close to the local amenities, there are good public transport links with easy access to the A1. The branch has a large shop floor that provides the opportunity to increase over the counter sales, and there is the potential to implement and deliver a wide range of services.

Currently dispensing around 5,500 items per month. This is a great chance for a Pharmacist seeking a new challenge to increase the script volume.

As the pharmacist on site you will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager to deliver great service, stock control, operational and GPhC standards.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30, Saturday 09:00 - 13:00Key Duties

  • Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
  • To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
  • To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals
  • To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development
