Prospero Teaching is looking for English & Maths Tutors in Doncaster to deliver bespoke tuition sessions on a 1:1 basis to young people that are currently without a school placement or struggling with education. The Role:The English & Maths Tutor roles are perfect for someone looking to step away from the classroom and make a difference to the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners! The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in the pupils education and boost engagement and attainment levels. Opportunity Details:DN12 - Year 9 Student - Tuition to take place at Home (25 Hours per week; 5 hours on each day) The student is lovely and willing to engage in the opportunity but struggles with Maths and English He also needs support to recognise stressors and develop self-regulation strategies. Additionally, he needs support in terms of his social and communication skills as well as mental health care. Tutors must: - Possess teaching/tutoring experience - Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box. - Hold the right to work in the UK. - Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. - Provide minimum of two professional references to cover the past 2 years of complete the history (2022 to 2024).
